| REDHEAD My first project in this series got named RedHead. Inspired by the NanoHead I decided to build something similar. It has a 6112 double triode as a preamptube in two gain stages, and then a 6021 as output tube in push-pull. It's powered with an external 12VDC adapter, which is internally converted to 165VDC. It has no semiconductors in the signal path. I should add that it is not a clone of the NanoHead. | YELLOWHEAD My second project got named YellowHead. The same as the red one in the preamp but it works with a 6111 as output tube. Sound1: Vol100% HB strat Sound2: Vol70% SC strat | |
| ORANGEHEAD OrangeHead is a single ended version. It has a 6112 in two gain stages and a 6021 as an output tube. Sound1: Vol40% SC strat Sound2: Vol70% SC strat Sound3: Vol100% HB strat | |
| BLUEHEAD The BlueHead is also a single ended version. It also has a 6112 in the preamp, though a bit different circuit vise than the others. It's still being optimized. Sound | |
| SNAKE CHARMER Snake Charmer is my first big amplifier project. It has three ECC83:s in the preamp and two EL84:s in push pull in the output stage. Sound | |
| TREMLER Tremler is a Tremolo/Boost pedal. Equipped with two 6021:s The circuit is based on Fenders Vibro-Champ. For the time being it's running at 2.5-6Hz in the tremolo. Sound1: First in bypass then in Boost. Sound2: max depth and speed. Sound3: max depth and min speed. Sound4: middle pos on the knobs. | |
| BIG-M BIG-M is a two channel S-E combo. The clean channel houses a ECC-81 and a ECC82 tube. The dirt channel holds two ECC83:s. Those are running to a single EL84. Soundclip1 is recorded with a strat with SC, micked against the cone.I've added a bit of software reverb. Soundclip2 is recorded with a LP in both channels. Micked against the cone and a roommick. | |
| LADY EVIL Lady Evil is an overdrivepedal equipped with two 12AX7:s. The circuit was from the beginning based on Mesa Boogies V1 Bottle Rocket, but has been rebuilt for a more tight bottom and focused sound. It's powered with an external 12VDC adapter, which is internally converted to 250VDC. Sound1 Sound2 |
